The hotel is just minutes from the A523 (Silk Road). The A34 to Congleton leading to the M6 is just 20 minutes drive with Manchester 35 minutes and Liverpool 50 minutes. Trains from Macclesfield link to London – Manchester Piccadilly – Manchester Airport – Liverpool.

Join us on Saturday 7th March 2026 for a dining experience like no other! @murder57ltd , the UKs leading Murder Mystery entertainment company, are staging a whodunnit dinner here at Hollin House. The theme: ‘If Looks Could Kill’ Guests will be encouraged to study clues, interrogate suspects and discover who is lying…and who is lying dead! Do you have what it takes to discover the truth? Prosecco reception drink, three course dinner with coffee and entertainment. The menu can be viewed via the link below. Doors open 7.30pm for a glass of fizz on arrival, meal service starts at 8.00pm. The murder mystery event takes place throughout the evening, finishing at 10.00pm. £59.50 per person, payable in full upon booking. Dress code: party wear. Additionally, if you wish to stay over and enjoy breakfast the next morning, a package rate that includes the evening and a standard twin or double room can be booked.
