Lyme Park, on the outskirts of the village of Disley, is a stunning country estate, extending over 1400 acres of magnificent moorland. Dating back to the 14th century, it boasts a stately mansion house, surrounded by formal gardens and a deer park. On site, guests can also enjoy fabulous walks and trails, an adventure playground, cafe’s, National Trust gift shops and a second hand bookshop. It is a popular shooting location for TV and film. It famously featured as ‘Pemberley’ in the BBC’s adaptation of ‘Pride and Prejudice’, starring Colin Firth as Mr Darcy and Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth Bennett. The perfect day out for lovers of both the outdoors and history and heritage!

PLEASE NOTE: Lyme Park is a 6 mile drive from the hotel and transport is NOT included. You can visit either on day of arrival or day of departure. Lyme Park is open 7 days a week, 8.30am-5pm. Please refer to Lyme Park website for opening hours of individual facilities within the estate. NOTE: The mansion house is CLOSED every Wednesday, although the rest of the park is open.
